For the open project is decided to take a sketch I created during quarantine and recreate it in digital form. I definitely want to mess with overlays to give it an antique feel however as of right now it just has noise on it.

This is a really cool and unique sketch. I really enjoy the colors, as they seem to work really well together. One thing I find a little confusing is that if it's a leg bone sticking out of the skate shoe it seems a little short for the size of the shoe. Great start, though. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress.
ReplyDeleteI really like your idea and the style of the drawn skate! I do think the realistic cloud overlay is a bit out of place just because it doesn't match the more stylized drawing. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress!
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat idea, a good way to document what we are going through right now. I agree that the clouds feel out of place, what if you brought them into illustrator and image traced them to make them a little more stylized?
